What is Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), and how is it made?
EPS is a lightweight, rigid foam composed of expanded polystyrene beads. It’s made by heating these beads with steam, causing them to expand and fuse into a closed-cell structure that’s approximately 98% air and 2% plastic, making it highly efficient and cost-effective.
